104!!!

 I miscounted a bet the other night and had 98 done rather than 95. Well, last night marked the 104th figure I've painted from August 28th. 100 figs in a month may not seem like much to some, but it's HUGE for me! I may actually get all of these figs painted before I die!!!

 Got the four figs I finished last night varnished and finished 3 others today after work. I first picked up these SpeedPaints and started really using them about a month ago, since then I've painted 95 figures! I've never come close to that before! Sure, they aren't going to win any prizes, but they are going to look good on the board during play.

Also, with the three doctor zombies I finished today, that marks the end of the Zpocalypse Hospital Hoard box set. I still have other figs from Zpocalypse, but that's another segment of my collection down! The ballerina and little boy mark the last of the kid figs that I had to paint as well.

I was painting based on a randomized list before, but that meant I essentially had to re-set after every figure. I'm now painting sets of the same sculpt in batches and it's going way faster. Even with my more limited time to paint these days.

Some More New Zombicide Characters

 I made a few characters to use in Zombicide 2E for some figures I've ordered, having printed, and designed in Hero Forge. 

Argyle from Stranger Things. Made a figure in Hero Forge for him. It's not perfect, but it works. 

Got a figure for Cloud from RN EStudio of this pic. With the gun, I figured he fit in with Modern Zombicide better than fantasy. I may end up doing an Invader card for this fig in the future.

Another Sparse Week

 I only got 6 figs completed this week and those were all done this afternoon. As predicted the fall crazy of baseball tournaments on the weekends, practices during the week, and my wife's band schedule of competitions and football games is really limiting my time to paint. That should change come November. 

This batch is 6 more figures from the Zpocalypse Hospital Horde set. Only 3 left and they are in the queue next. I've got 4 more ready for varnish tomorrow. Once the 3 doctors figs are done, I'll be starting on my first figs from Zombicide 2E!

Pretty sparse last week

 I only got 5 figs finished last week. 2 from Last Night on Earth and 3 from the Zpocalypse Hospital Horde set. I only have 9 more of those to go. They should go fairly fast, but I just need to get time to get them done. Time is something I'm in short supply of this time of the year. 

The Horde Grows Again!!!

 Thanks to my internet getting cut Friday, I had some extra time to get a few more finished up that afternoon and in between my oldest son's baseball games.

Worked on getting some random Reaper metal zombies done as well as some from Zpocalypse and some printed minis as well. 

I'm working on the last of my Zpocalypse Hospital Horde set done, then batch painting walkers from Zombicide, Last Night on Earth, Resident Evil, The Walking Dead, and Zpocalypse

Just a Quick Update

 Finally got my grass flocking in today so I could finish up the two Cub Scout Zombies I've had painted for a little over a week now. I also did a quick and dirty paint job on a zombie tiger. I always have trouble with animals and while this tiger won't win any awards, I'm pleased with how it turned out.

The small one is from the Zombicide Ghostbusters Set. The three big ones are from the Ghostbusters Board Game. I have three because I had a retail set, then found one with all the Kickstarter exclusives for a really good price, so I ended up with a torched SPMM and 2 regular ones.

The last one is a Zombie kid ballerina with a broken arm. I've got another coming that will hopefully be whole later on.

41 miniatures done since last week!

New Terrors Added to the Horde!

 Not quite as many done last night, but I did get a few. A few soldier zombies (a Walker, an Abomination, a Runner, and a Shooter Walker). Then two versions of Gozer the Gozerian; one from the Ghostbusters board game and one from the Zombicide Ghostbusters character packs. Trying out different schemes on the Soldiers for when I paint the official Zombicide Soldier figs. As for the Gozers, I'm really happy with how they turned out. I was dreading them a bit.

Even more Zombies!!!

 Man, after my marathon run of Zombie Kidz earlier this week, I only got a couple minis painted Thursday and Friday, but then I got 10 painted last night!!! I'm not entirely pleased with all of them, but I can always reprint then and try again. 

All of these figs are various zombies from the Vaultz Patreon. The big one in the back is the Screamer. She moves only when a Survivor isn't in LoS. Once a Survivor is in LoS, she screams. This grants ALL non-Abominations an extra activation each round in which the Screamer can see a Survivor. Kill her fast!!!

This weeks additions to the Horde (so far)

 This week's progress so far. All but 4 of the zombie kids are finished, and 2 of those are just waiting for some material for the bases to come in. There are a few in here with missing hands. Sadly, they were damaged in transit from the printer, but missing appendages is pretty on theme for zombies, so I make it work. Really loving the Speedpaints. Instead of waiting a day or two for shading varnish to dry, I can just call a fig done and hit it with the matte varnish.

Most of these figs are from the Vaultz Patreon, with some Zpocalypse figs in the back.
