Undead or Alive Abominations!

 I started in on my Undead or Alive minis last week and I completed the Abominations this weekend! I'm happy with most of them, but the Abomination and Steam Abomination leave a bit to be desired. I may strip them and try again someday, but they'll work for now. 

I'm now getting the Daily Duel Walkers prepped and ready for paint next.

Switching Gears...

 I haven't done a lot of painting lately as I've been working on a special project for my youngest son. However, I got my Zombicide Undead or Alive pledge the other day, which is the western themed Zombicide. Below are the last of the modern-era figs that I'll be painting for a while. I'm going to work on Undead or Alive until I get that set fully painted.

This Week's Additions to the Horde

 This week sees a smattering of figs from different sources.

From Zombicide 1st Edition. I don't recall which season. 

A couple of Fatties/Brutes from Last Night on Earth. They look really small next to the comically huge Fatties in 2nd Edition, but I'm still going to use them as such.

From one of the Resident Evil games. I have 1 more of this sculpt to paint. I was running into an issue where the speed paint was just being soaked up by the primer, so I stripped those fig and re-primed them and will try again.

A Princess Leia slave bikini cosplayer zombie. She was a KS exclusive from one of the 1st edition seasons. 

The Horde Grows Again!

 Haven't had much time the last couple weeks, but I was able to finish up a few today. 

This represents the last of the Zombicide 2nd Edition walkers! I still have a lot of 1st Edition walkers still in the queue. 

A few more Resident Evil walkers. Getting close to having the walkers from these games done.

Another Painting Milestone!

38 minis completed this week, which is pretty good considering I wasn't feeling great early this week and the usual baseball interruptions. I took a little break from official Zombicide figures to focus on unique sculpts and doubles from the The Walking Dead: All-Out War and Here's Negan! games, and from the Resident Evil 2 & 3 boardgames. This week sees another milestone in my painting as this group is the last of my Walking Dead figures!

The two Resident Evil zombies that are on fire represent the best fire effects that I've ever painted! 

Zombicide 2nd Edition Zombies Join the Horde!

 Just about got all the 2nd Edition zombie walkers done this weekend. Just 2 more batches of 4 to go. I still have a LOT of other walkers to go, but it's still a milestone!

104!!!

 I miscounted a bet the other night and had 98 done rather than 95. Well, last night marked the 104th figure I've painted from August 28th. 100 figs in a month may not seem like much to some, but it's HUGE for me! I may actually get all of these figs painted before I die!!!

 Got the four figs I finished last night varnished and finished 3 others today after work. I first picked up these SpeedPaints and started really using them about a month ago, since then I've painted 95 figures! I've never come close to that before! Sure, they aren't going to win any prizes, but they are going to look good on the board during play.

Also, with the three doctor zombies I finished today, that marks the end of the Zpocalypse Hospital Hoard box set. I still have other figs from Zpocalypse, but that's another segment of my collection down! The ballerina and little boy mark the last of the kid figs that I had to paint as well.

I was painting based on a randomized list before, but that meant I essentially had to re-set after every figure. I'm now painting sets of the same sculpt in batches and it's going way faster. Even with my more limited time to paint these days.

Some More New Zombicide Characters

 I made a few characters to use in Zombicide 2E for some figures I've ordered, having printed, and designed in Hero Forge. 

Argyle from Stranger Things. Made a figure in Hero Forge for him. It's not perfect, but it works. 

Got a figure for Cloud from RN EStudio of this pic. With the gun, I figured he fit in with Modern Zombicide better than fantasy. I may end up doing an Invader card for this fig in the future.

From Stranger Things. Made a fairly decent figure for her in Hero Forge. The hair isn't quite right, but it'll work.
