New Invader Survivors

Here's the latest batch of survivors for Invader. I picked up a KS set of Project Elite a while back and while many of the characters came with Invader character cards, the stretch goals did not. I had to rectify that!

This will likely be the last batch of Invader cards for a while...although Hasslefree keeps talking about a Kickstarter for new Sci-Fi figs. I do have a soft spot for Hasslefree...

There are two new powers here:

Cryokinesis – Pick a Xenos within a range of 0-1 that needs 2 or less Damage to eliminate and roll 1 die. If the Xenos requires 2 Damage weapons to eliminate, they are frozen in place on a roll of 5+, 4+ if they require Damage 1 weapons to eliminate. If the roll fails, the Xenos is unaffected. If successful, the Xenos is frozen and cannot act in the next Xenos Phase. If the Xenos is attacked before the end of the next Xenos Phase, they are shattered and destroyed, no matter the Damage output of the weapon used against them.

Kinetic Pulse - After killing a Xenos, you may move 1 Xenos of the same or lesser level of Damage needed to destroy 1 zone. If in an indoor Zone, the Xenos must be moved to another Interior Zone, vice versa if outdoors.

From Alien. The fig I use is from the Alien: Fate of the Nostromo game from Ravensberger. The same goes for the other Alien crewmembers below.

From Mass Effect. I still need to get the figure printed, but I've found a great one on the Vaultz patreon. Check it out!

From Alien. Yes, I know that the character, Vivian, from the base set is inspired by Ripley. Still, if I'm wanting to play as Ripley, I want Ripley, not a pretender!

Another new skill here:

Fire Coverage – During each Xenos spawn Phase, cancel one spawn card just drawn and place it on the bottom of the deck, and draw a new one. Only one spawn can be redrawn during the Xenos Phase.

I'm back to looking at 3D printers again. I don't know what happened, but I must have gotten the deal of the century for those 9 figures I had printed for less that $13 with shipping. Now I can't hardly get a figure printed for less than $6!!! Maybe the cost of Resin jumped? Whatever the case, I'm back to looking at printers again with maybe getting one after the new year.
